Endometriosis is a health condition that affects many women around the world. It is "a debilitatingly painful condition that robs women of their ability to learn, earn, play, reproduce, have sex and even defecate normally" says Emma Barnett.
Endometriosis (en-doe-me-tree-O-sis) is an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus. It most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. These tissues respond to your hormones and tend to build up, break down, and shed every month— typical menstrual cycle. Unfortunately, with endometriosis, the shed blood is trapped in your body triggering inflammation and scarring which can lead to; severe menstrual cramps, painful sex, pain while passing urine, pain during bowel movements, chronic lower backache, abdominal pain, diarrhea and can sometimes lead to infertility.
CBD suppositories (or full-spectrum hemp suppositories) can be a ‘game-changer’. Women are being advised to try a combination of their prescribed treatments, along with CBD suppositories (full spectrum hemp suppositories) to treat endometriosis; such as the use of hormonal therapy, surgery, nutritional supplements, herbs, and oral pain medication. This may be because they want to tapper down from their prescription drugs, in order to eliminate or reduce the side effects and overcome dependency on such-like drugs. CBD suppositories could also be a remedy to opioid addiction as the incidences of people becoming addicted is unfortunately high.

CBD is known to work on the endocannabinoid system. Apart from boosting the brain’s functions, the endocannabinoid system also impacts how you perceive pain. Extensive animal-based research has been done to show the impact of CBD on the treatment of pain.
Women using mother•s dose CBD suppositories would agree that we need better ways to talk about our pain. Endometriosis pain isn’t normal period pain and shouldn’t be compared as such. Women need to get better at finding the language to describe their symptoms. Pain is notoriously hard to describe and pinpoint.
It is advised to talk to your healthcare provider to determine whether it is safe for you to use CBD suppositories (or full spectrum hemp suppositories) to combat pain associated with endometriosis.
